14 people who attended the Mothers Against Genocide group protest against the Israeli war in Gaza were arrested after an entrance to Leinster House in Dublin was blocked.

The Mothers Against Genocide group says one woman was subject to a cavity search, while others were strip searched.

The group held an overnight protest calling on the Government to do more about the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Protests were held at Belfast City Hall and at RTÉ in Dublin
