The search is on for a new big-ticket Lotto winner in Kildare.

The National Lottery has confirmed a Maxol Service Station in Co Kildare has sold its second big National Lottery prize in six months.

A Lotto Plus 2 top prize winning ticket worth €250,000 was sold on the Sallins Road in Naas yesterday.

The service station sold a €1m EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle ticket to a family in May who vowed to buy their dream home with their winnings.

Store owner, Conor Sherry, said: “With two life-changing lottery wins in the space of a couple of months, we are certainly proving to be a lucky charm for our customers.

“The store is situated in a busy residential area while we also have a lot of trade with the large multinational companies in the area. We will be celebrating the win in-store today and we’ll certainly be reminding all of our customers to check their tickets.”

Last night’s winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers are: 05, 10, 13, 28, 33, 43 and the Bonus 36.

Meanwhile, the winner of of last Wednesday’s €7.5 million Lotto jackpot on a ticket sold in Thurles. Co Tipperary has yet to come forward.

Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated €30 million.
