ALL THE fun of the fair will be enjoyed in O’Hanrahan’s GAA grounds this Sunday, 24 August, as the juvenile club hosts its very first family fun day. The event is being held in aid of the club’s juvenile teams, with every cent raised at the family fun day going straight back to the club to help kit out the juvenile teams and their future development.

“We’ve put a lot of work into the juveniles this year and we want to have them looking the part, too, with hoodies and their own gear,” explained Bernard Horahan from the club.

The day promises to have something for everyone, with lots of activities on the field, musical entertainment and a blitz featuring the very best young footballers. Children are guaranteed to have a super time with a bouncy castle, bouncy slide and, for those feeling very brave, the dreaded dunk tank!

A football blitz featuring O’Hanrahan’s U6, U8 and U10 teams will take on teams from guest clubs Tinryland, Palatine and Graiguecullen during the afternoon. The fun begins at 1pm until 6pm and admission is just €3 adults, while there’s no charge for children.
